Introduction

Maqsad: Insaaf aur Rishton ka Tahaffuz

"Surah Al-Baqarah ki ye Ayaat hamain batati hain ke Islam sirf ibadat ka naam nahi, balkay ye jeenay aur marne ke adaab bhi sikhata hai. Is introduction ka asal maqsad do cheezon ko waziya karna hai: Pehla, ke Zindagi ki hifazat qanoon aur adl (Qisas) se kaise hoti hai, aur dusra, ke insaan apni maut se pehle apne maal ko Insaaf aur Muhabbat ke sath kaise taqseem kare. Ye ayaat ek aisa nizam deti hain jahan kisi ka haq nahi mara jata aur maut ke baad bhi khandaan mein jhagron ki jagah sukoon aur mohabbat baaki rehti hai."

Ayat 179

Aur khoon ka badla lene mein tumhari zindagi hai, aye aqal mando, taake tum bach sako.

And in taking the recompense for blood, there is life for you, O people of understanding, so that you may be saved.

Ayat 180

Tum par farz hua ke jab tum mein kisi ko maut aaye, agar kuch maal chhode to wasiyat kar jaye apne maa baap aur qareeb ke rishtedaaron ke liye, mawafiq dastoor; ye wajib hai parhezgaaron par.

It has been made obligatory upon you that when death approaches any of you, if he leaves wealth, he should make a bequest for his parents and near relatives according to what is proper. This is a duty for the righteous.

Ayat 181

To jo wasiyat ko sun sun kar badal de, us ka gunah unhi badalne walon par hai. Beshaq Allah sunta jaanta hai.

But whoever alters it after hearing it, the sin is upon those who change it. Indeed, Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

Surah Al-Baqarah ki Ayat 182 ka saaf Arabi rasm-ul-khat, jis mein bataya gaya hai ke agar wasiyat mein koi galti ya na-insafi ka dar ho, to sulah karanay walay par koi gunah nahi.

Ayat 182

Phir jise andesha hua ke wasiyat karne walay ne kuch be-insafi ya gunaah kiya, to usne un mein sulah kara di; us par kuch gunah nahi. Beshaq Allah bakshne wala, meherban hai.

But if one fears that the testator may act unjustly or sinfully, and makes reconciliation among them, there is no sin upon him. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

Surah Al-Baqarah (Ayat 179-182) ki Tafseer

1. Qisas ki Hikmat (Ayat 179)

Arshad-e-Bari Ta’ala hai:

"Khoon ka badla lene mein tumhari zindagi hai."

Zindagi ka Zaminoon:

Qisas ka falsafa ye hai ke jab qaatil ko maloom hoga ke badle mein usay bhi qatal kiya jayega, to wo kisi ki jaan lene se ruk jayega.

Muashrati Aman:

Jis qoum mein mujrim ko saza di jaye, wahan jaraim khud-ba-khud kam ho jate hain.

Ibrat ka Dars:

Aaj bhi jin mamalik mein sakht sanzayen nafiz hain, wahan jaraim ki sharah (rate) un mamalik se bohot kam hai jahan mujrimon ko saza nahi milti.

2. Wasiyat ka Hukm (Ayat 180)

Wirasat ke qanoon se pehle wasiyat wajib thi, magar ab is ke ehkaamat darj-e-zail hain:

Wajib se Jawaz tak:

Wirasat ke ahkaam aane ke baad wasiyat ka wajib hona mansookh ho gaya, magar is ka jawaz (permission) ab bhi baqi hai.

Sunnat-e-Rasool (ﷺ):

Musalman ke liye munasib nahi ke do raatein bhi wasiyat likhay baghair guzare. (Bukhari)

Wasiyat ki Hadd:

Wasiyat sirf ek tihayi (1/3) maal tak ho sakti hai. Is se zyada ke liye wurasa (heirs) ki raza-mandi zaroori hai.

Waris ke liye Wasiyat:

Aam halat mein waris ke liye wasiyat durust nahi kyunke Allah ne har haqdar ka haq muqarrar kar diya hai.

Maali Halat ka Khayal:

Agar maal kithir (zyada) ho to wasiyat afzal hai, aur agar qaleel (kam) ho to na karna behtar hai taake wurasa muhtaj na hon.

3. Wasiyat mein Tabdeeli ka Gunah (Ayat 181)

Wasiyat sunne ke baad us mein radd-o-badal karna sakht gunah hai:

Tabdeeli ka Ikhtiyar:

Wasiyat karne wala apni zindagi mein isay badal sakta hai, magar us ki wafat ke baad kisi gawah ya wasi (executor) ko tabdeeli ka ikhtiyar nahi.

Hiram-o-Khayanat:

Maal ki mohabbat mein wasiyat chhupana, jaali wasiyat-namay banana ya taqseem mein hira-pheri karna haraam aur najaiz hai.

Gunah ka Zimma-dar:

Jo shakhs jan boojh kar haqdar ka haq maarta hai, us ka gunah tabdeeli karne walay par hi hoga.

4. Islah aur Sulah ki Gunjaish (Ayat 182)

Agar wasiyat mein koi galti ho rahi ho, to us ki durusti gunah nahi neki hai:

Ziyadti ka Sad-e-Baab:

Agar koi aalim ya rishtedar dekhe ke marne wala wasiyat mein na-insafi kar raha hai, to usay samjha kar wasiyat durust karwana sawab ka kaam hai.

Wafat ke baad Sulah:

Agar marne wala galat wasiyat kar gaya ho, to baad mein wurasa aur "Moosa-lah" (jis ke haq mein wasiyat hui) ke darmiyan shariat ke mutabiq sulah karwana gunehgar nahi balkay mustahiq-e-sawab banata hai.

Allah ki Rehmat:

Allah Ghafoor-ur-Rahim hai aur nek niyati se ki gayi islah ko pasand farmata hai.

Comprehensive Tafseer: Surah Al-Baqarah (Ayat 179-182)

1. The Wisdom of Retribution (Verse 179)

Guarantee of Life:

The philosophy of Qisas is that when a potential murderer knows they will face the same fate for their crime, they will refrain from taking a life. Thus, this law serves as a protection for life itself.

Societal Peace:

In any nation where criminals are strictly punished, crimes naturally decrease. A society that shields or supports oppressors is destined for destruction.

A Lesson in Deterrence:

Even today, countries with strict implementation of such laws see significantly lower crime rates compared to those where criminals are not held strictly accountable.

2. The Commandment of the Will (Verse 180)

Before the laws of inheritance were fully revealed, making a will was obligatory. The current rulings are as follows:

From Obligatory to Permissible:

After the revelation of specific inheritance shares (Meeras), the absolute obligation of the will was abrogated, but its validity and permissibility (Jawaz) remain.

Sunnah of the Messenger (ﷺ):

It is not befitting for a Muslim who has property to pass two nights without having a written will with them (Bukhari).

The Limit of the Will:

A will can only be made for up to one-third (1/3) of the total estate. Anything exceeding this requires the consent of the legal heirs.

Wills for Legal Heirs:

Generally, a will cannot be made in favor of a legal heir (who already has a fixed share in inheritance), as Allah has already designated their right.

Consideration of Financial Status:

If the wealth is abundant, making a will is virtuous. However, if the wealth is minimal, it is better not to make a will so that the heirs are not left in poverty and dependency.

3. The Sin of Altering a Will (Verse 181)

Changing a will after it has been heard or documented is a severe sin:

Authority to Change:

The testator (the one making the will) has the right to change it during their lifetime. However, after their death, no witness, executor, or relative has the authority to alter it.

Fraud and Deception:

Hiding a will, creating forged documents, or manipulating the distribution of assets due to greed is strictly forbidden (Haram).

Responsibility for the Sin:

If someone intentionally deprives a rightful person of their share by altering the will, the burden of that sin falls solely on the one who made the change.

4. Room for Correction and Reconciliation (Verse 182)

Correcting a mistake in a will is not a sin, but a virtuous act:

Preventing Injustice:

If a scholar, ruler, or relative realizes that the testator is committing an injustice or violating Shariah laws in their will, they should advise them to correct it. Doing so earns a spiritual reward.

Posthumous Reconciliation:

If the deceased left an unjust will, a third party (mediator) can intervene to reconcile the legal heirs and the beneficiaries according to Islamic law. This mediator is not a sinner but is deserving of reward.

Allah’s Mercy:

Allah is Oft-Forgiving and Most Merciful; He appreciates and accepts reconciliation made with sincere intentions.

⚖️ Surah Al-Baqarah (179-182) - Key Lessons & Reflections

1. Qisas Mein Zindagi Hai (Ayat 179)

Quranic Usool:

Qisas (badla) ka qanoon sirf saza nahi, balkay muashray ke liye zindagi ki zamanat hai kyunke ye qatl-o-gharat ko rokta hai.

Muashrati Sorat-e-Hal:

Allah ne khud farmaya ke mulk ka qanoon hamesha sakht hona chahiye taake agar koi zalim kisi mazloom par zulm kare, to usay aisi saza mile ke doosron ki rooh kaanp jaye aur koi dobara aisa kaam na kare.

Afsoos-nak Haqeeqat:

Afsoos ke Pakistan mein saza sirf gareeb ko milti hai, ameer ko nahi. Ameer paison se qanoon khareed leta hai aur qanoon ke pasdar isay bech dete hain. Yahi wajah hai ke aaj corruption aam hai aur zulm barh gaya hai kyunke zalim ko saza ka khauf nahi raha.

2. Wasiyat ka Jawaz aur Hadd (Ayat 180)

Pasandida Amal:

Wirasat ke ahkaam aane ke baad wasiyat wajib to nahi rahi, lekin ye ab bhi ek pasandida amal hai taake haqdaaron ka khayal rakha ja sakay.

Shari'i Hadd:

3. Waris ke liye Wasiyat ka Hukum

Haq-e-Wirasat:

Jo log Shariat ke mutabiq pehle hi waris hain, unke liye alag se wasiyat zaroori nahi kyunke Allah ne unka hissa muqarrar kar diya hai.

Aham Nuqta:

Iska matlab ye hai ke baap ki property mein aulaad (beta aur beti) ka hissa muqarrar hai. Isi tarah agar behan bhaiyon ka hissa banta ho, to unhain bhi dena lazmi hai.

4. Wasiyat Badalna aur Haq Maarna (Ayat 181)

Gunah-e-Kabeera: Marne walay ki wafat ke baad uski wasiyat mein apni marzi se radd-o-badal karna ya kisi ka haq maarna sakht haraam aur gunah-e-kabeera hai.

Behno aur Betiyo ka Haq:

Aaj kal log zinda hote hue bhi betiyon aur behno ka hissa kha jate hain. Yaad rakhen! Agar aap ne behan ya beti ka haq khaya hai, to aap jitni marzi ibadat, sadqa ya qurbani kar len, Allah ke haan qabool nahi hogi.

Anjam-e-Bad:

Jo log faide ke liye wasiyat badalte hain, wo asal mein apne pet mein aag bhar rahe hain. Jis ka haq khaya gaya usay to Allah kahin na kahin se de hi dega, lekin haq maarne wala Allah aur uske Rasool (ﷺ) ko naraz kar deta hai.

5. Islah aur Sulah ki Ijazat (Ayat 182)

Neki ka Kaam:

Kisi ki islah karna bohot bari neki hai. Aise mein agar koi unhain samjha kar wasiyat durust karwa de, to ye bohot bara sawab hai.

Achai ke liye Tabdeeli:

Agar banda fout ho jaye aur uski wasiyat se na-insafi ho rahi ho, to wasiyat par amal karne wala (executor) agar haqdaaron ko pura haq dene ke liye us mein behtari laye, to us par gunah nahi balkay sawab hai.

Beshak neki ka badla Allah hi behtar dene wala hai.

⚖️ Surah Al-Baqarah (Verses 179-182) - Key Lessons & Reflections

1. Life Lies in Retribution (Verse 179)

The Quranic Principle:

The law of Qisas (just retribution) is not merely a punishment; it is a guarantee of life for society because it prevents the cycle of killing and violence.

The Need for Strict Laws:

Allah Himself declares in these verses that a nation’s laws must be firm. When an oppressor harms the innocent, the punishment must be so exemplary that it shakes the souls of others, ensuring no one dares to commit such a crime again.

The Bitter Reality:

Sadly, in places like Pakistan, punishment often only reaches the poor, while the powerful remain untouched. The wealthy "buy" the law with money, and the custodians of justice "sell" it. This corruption is why society is in such a dire state—the oppressor no longer fears the consequences.

2. The Validity and Limit of the Will (Verse 180)

A Virtuous Act:

While the absolute obligation of the will was adjusted after inheritance laws were revealed, making a will remains a highly encouraged act to ensure the welfare of loved ones.

The Shari'i Limit:

Allah has fixed a limit of one-third (1/3) of the total estate for a will. This ensures that the primary heirs (the family) are not left impoverished or deprived of their rightful shares.

3. Inheritance Rights of the Family

Divine Shares:

For those whom Shariah has already designated as heirs, a separate will is not necessary because Allah has already fixed their portion.

Crucial Point:

This means that in a father’s property, the children (both sons and daughters) have a fixed right. Whether a father writes a will or not, they MUST receive their share. Similarly, if siblings have a rightful share, it is mandatory to give it to them.

4. The Sin of Altering a Will (Verse 181)

A Major Sin: Changing the deceased's will for personal gain or depriving someone of their right is strictly forbidden (Haram) and a major sin (Gunah-e-Kabeera).

The Rights of Sisters and Daughters:

Today, many people deprive their sisters and daughters of their inheritance even while they are alive. Remember! If you have consumed the rightful share of your sister or daughter, no amount of charity, extra prayers, or sacrifices (Qurbani) will be accepted by Allah.

The Ultimate Consequence:

Those who alter a will for greed are essentially filling their bellies with hellfire. The one whose right was stolen will eventually be compensated by Allah, but the one who stole it has invited the wrath of Allah and His Messenger (ﷺ).

5. The Merit of Correction and Reconciliation (Verse 182)

A Great Virtue: Correcting an injustice is a noble act. Sometimes, out of anger or misunderstanding, a person might leave an unfair will (e.g., depriving a son or daughter). Advising someone to correct such a mistake before they pass is a huge reward.

Rectifying Mistakes After Death:

If someone has already passed away leaving an unjust will, and the executor or a relative intervenes to ensure the heirs get their full Shari'i rights, it is not a sin. Rather, it is a rewardable act of righteousness. While one person made a mistake, the other upheld Allah's command.

6. Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful

Divine Mercy:

Allah showers His mercy on those who facilitate peace, reconciliation, and justice with sincere intentions. Truly, the reward for such goodness lies with Allah alone.

🌙 Dil Ki Baat: Adal aur Haqeeqi Sukoon

Aaj hum Surah Al-Baqarah ki ayaat parhte hain to dil dukh se bhar jata hai. Allah ne farmaya ke "Qisas mein tumhari zindagi hai," lekin hamare muashray mein qanoon sirf mom ki naak ban kar reh gaya hai. Gareeb ke liye phansi ka fanda hai aur ameer ke liye qanoon ke raste khule hain. Hum bhool gaye hain ke jab insaf bikta hai, to poori qoum ki tabahi ka sauda hota hai.

⚖️ Pakistan ke Halaat aur Corruption

Beshak, jis ka jeeta jagta saboot hamari aankhon ke samne hamara Pakistan hai. Is mulk mein agar koi qatal bhi kar de, to wo qanoon ke hathon se paisa de kar nikal jata hai. Yahan tak ke larkiyon ke sath jo ziyati hoti hai, us zalim ko bhi saza nahi di jati kyunke yahan ke police officer aur authorities, har banda bika hua hai. Logon ke dil mein Allah ka khauf hi nahi raha.
Jo log ache hain aur corruption nahi karte, unhain daba diya jata hai. Ab aap khud dekhen, aisa mulk kya taraqqi kar sakta hai jis mein mazloom ki dukh ki awaz goonjti ho? Kya un ki haaye nahi lagegi? Dekhen, aaj hamare baad banne walay mulk itne kaamyab ho gaye hain lekin hum mazeed pasti ka shikar hain.

🚫 Sirf Hukumat Nahi, Awam bhi Zimmedar Hai

Kuch log kehte hain ke bas government hi galat hai. Dekho, mukammal to koi nahi hota, un ki galtiyan hain, lekin jo qanoon banaya gaya hai, amal to awam us par bhi nahi karti. Hamari Pakistani qoum bohat mazboot aur achi ho sakti hai agar hum corruption aur apna imaan bechna chor dein.

⚠️ Paigham:

Dosto! Is liye ye jhoot, dhoka aur corruption chor dein warna Allah ke haan bohat sakht azab hai. Allah kisi ka dukh bhulne wala nahi hai. Khud ko badlein, phir dekhein ye society kitni kaamyab hogi.

📢 Zulm ke Khilaf Awaz Uthayein

Ek baat ye bhi hai ke kafi mazloom aise hain jin ki awaz ko daba diya jata hai aur wo khud bhi awaz nahi uthate. Zulm ke khilaf chup rehna bhi itna hi gunah hai jitna zulm karna. Duniya ki parwah na karein, bas ye sochein ke Roze-Qayamat Allah ko kya jawab dena hai. Jab tak insan zinda hai, usay khud ko sudhaarne ki koshish karte rehna chahiye.

🏠 Haq-e-Wirasat aur Hamari Ghaflat

Hum namazein parhte hain, roze rakhte hain, lekin jab baap ki property ki baari aati hai, to behno aur betiyon ke haq par saanp ban kar baith jate hain. Yaad rakhein, jo shakhs kisi beti ka haq kha kar sajda karta hai, us ke sajday mein wo noor nahi rehta. Allah ki raah mein lakhon ka sadqa aur qurbani bhi us gunah ko nahi dho sakti jo kisi mazloom ka haq maar kar kiya gaya ho.

❌ Jhaiz: Ek Lanat aur Galat Bahana

Beshak! Allah ya Rasool (ﷺ) ne to aisa koi hukum nahi diya. Jhaiz to ek lanat hai! Aap jhaiz dete hain logon ko dikhane ke liye aur apni naak bachane ke liye.

Jab aap logon ko dikhane ke liye itna kharch kar sakte hain, to Allah ki raza ke liye beti ko hissa kyun nahi de sakte? Jhaiz de kar hissa na dena "Double Gunah" hai: ek jhaiz jaisi galat rasam ko zinda rakhna aur doosra Shariat ka haq maarna.

✨ Tabdeeli Mumkin Hai

Meri aapse guzarish hai ke is society ko badalne ki koshish karein. Jhaiz ko khatam karein aur hissa dene ko aam karein. Log kehte hain ye purani rasam hai khatam nahi hogi, lekin yaad rakhein, jab hamare Pyare Nabi (ﷺ) tashreef laye to kafiron ke aqeeday bhi bohat purane aur mazboot thay, lekin Aap (ﷺ) ne tableegh ki aur society ki har galat cheez ko theek kiya. Agar hum bhi dil se koshish karein to aaj bhi bohat kuch badal sakta hai.

🧎 Namaz aur Insaaf ka Rishta

Namaz hamain nizam (discipline) sikhati hai aur Quran hamain adl (justice). Agar hamari namaz hamain dusron ka haq dene par majboor nahi kar rahi, to hamain apne imaan par ghor karna chahiye.

🌙 Words from the Heart: Justice and True Peace

Today, when we read these verses of Surah Al-Baqarah, our hearts heavy with grief. Allah has declared, "In retribution (Qisas), there is life for you," but in our society, the law has become nothing more than a tool of convenience. There is a noose for the poor, while the paths of escape remain wide open for the rich. We have forgotten that when justice is sold, the entire nation’s future is traded away.

⚖️ The Reality of Corruption and Justice in Pakistan

Undoubtedly, the proof of this lies right before our eyes in the current state of Pakistan. The reason for our downfall is extreme corruption. In this country, even a murderer can walk free by bribing the authorities. Even the most heinous crimes against women go unpunished because police officers and authorities are often bought. People no longer have the fear of Allah in their hearts.

Those few who are honest and refuse to engage in corruption are suppressed. Can a nation ever prosper when the cries of the oppressed echo through its streets? Will their silent prayers for justice not reach the Heavens? Look at the nations that gained independence after us—they have succeeded while we continue to sink further.

🚫 It’s Not Just the Government; We Are Responsible Too

Many say that only the government is at fault. While they certainly have their failings, the truth is that the public doesn't even follow the laws that do exist. Our nation could be incredibly strong and successful if we stopped selling our faith and our integrity. The day a victim starts receiving justice is the day Pakistan will truly succeed.

⚠️ A Warning:

Friends, let us leave behind lies, deceit, and corruption, or else the punishment of Allah is very severe. Allah never forgets the pain of any soul. Change yourself first, and then watch how this society and this country flourish.

📢 Speak Up Against Oppression

There are so many oppressed people whose voices are silenced, or who choose to remain silent themselves. Their families or those around them suppress their cries. This must stop! Perhaps by raising your voice, you can prevent someone else from suffering what you endured. Remaining silent in the face of tyranny is as much of a sin as the act of tyranny itself. Do not worry about what the world will say; think only of what you will answer to Allah on the Day of Judgment. As long as a human is alive, they must keep striving to reform themselves.

🏠 The Negligence of Inheritance Rights

We offer our prayers and keep our fasts, but when the time comes to divide a father’s property, we sit like snakes over the rights of our sisters and daughters. Remember, the prostration (Sajdah) of a person who has stolen a daughter's right loses its spiritual light. All the charity and sacrifices in the world cannot wash away the sin of usurping the right of the vulnerable.

❌ Dowry: A Curse and a False Excuse

Truly, I want to address those who claim, "We gave our daughter or sister a dowry, so why does she need a share of the inheritance?" Look, you gave that dowry—but who asked you to? Neither Allah nor His Messenger (ﷺ) commanded this. Dowry is a curse! You give it to show off to society and to save your "reputation."

If you can spend so much to impress people, why can’t you give your daughter her rightful share to please Allah? Giving a dowry and then withholding an inheritance is a "double sin": first for practicing a harmful social custom, and second for violating Shariah law.

✨ Change is Possible

I urge you to change this society. Let us end the curse of dowry and make the giving of inheritance a common practice. People say these are old customs that cannot be changed, but remember: when our Beloved Prophet (ﷺ) arrived, the beliefs of the disbelievers were ancient and deeply rooted. Yet, through His (ﷺ) preaching, He reformed society. If we try with a sincere heart for the sake of Allah, we can still change everything today.

🧎 The Connection Between Prayer and Justice

Prayer (Namaz) teaches us discipline, and the Quran teaches us justice (Adl). If our prayers do not compel us to give others their due rights, then we must deeply reflect on the state of our faith.

Sirf zuban se nahi, balkay dil mein sharmindgi ke sath parhen ke "Ya Allah, main waqayi apne gunahon par sharminda hoon."

Kasrat Se Parhna:

Is ka koi khas waqt nahi, uthte bethte, kam karte hue, aur khas taur par Suhur (Sehri) ke waqt parhna bohot afzal hai.

Iftar Se Pehle:

Iftar se 5-10 minute pehle tasbeeh hath mein rakhen aur "Astaghfirullah" ka wird karein, ye qubooliyat ka waqt hai.

Gunah Chorne Ka Azm:

Istighfar ka asli maza tab hai jab aap ye irada bhi karein ke "Ya Allah, main ye galati dobara nahi karunga."

💡 Ek Khas Dua (Sayyid-ul-Istighfar):

Agar aap zyada sawab chahte hain to ye dua (Sayyid-ul-Istighfar) din mein ek baar lazmi parhen:Sayyid-ul-Istighfar (Istighfar ka Sardar) woh dua hai jis ke baray mein Nabi Kareem (ﷺ) ne farmaya ke jo shakhs isay din mein yaqeen ke sath parhay aur us din fout ho jaye to woh Jannati hai

Sayyid-ul-Istighfar

"Ae Allah! Tu hi mera Rab hai, Tere siwa koi mabood nahi. Tu ne hi mujhe paida kiya aur main Tera banda hoon. Main apni taqat ke mutabiq Tere ahad aur waade par qaim hoon. Main apne kiye hue kaamon ke shar se Teri panah mangta hoon. Main Tere samne Teri un neamaton ka aitraf karta hoon jo Tu ne mujh par kein, aur main apne gunahon ka bhi aitraf karta hoon, pas mujhe bakhsh de kyunke Tere siwa koi gunahon ko nahi bakhsh sakta."

💡 Aik Choti Si "Dil Ki Baat" is Dua ke Sath:

Is dua mein hum Allah ke samne apni Aajzi (humility) ka izhaar karte hain. Ramadan mein jab aap isay parhen, to har lafz par ghor karein—khusoosan us jagah jahan hum kehte hain ke "Main apne gunahon ka aitraf karta hoon." Jab banda Allah ke samne apne gunah maan leta hai, to Allah ki rehmat ko josh aata hai aur wo sab kuch muaf farma deta hai.

✨ Astaghfirullah (Istighfar) ✨

I seek forgiveness from Allah.

🌙 The Virtues of Seeking Forgiveness (Istighfar) in Ramadan

1. The Days of Forgiveness (Maghfirat):

The second ten days of Ramadan (11th to 20th) are specifically dedicated to seeking Allah's mercy and forgiveness. During these days, reciting "Astaghfirullah" abundantly washes away sins just as rain washes away dust from the earth.

2. Freedom from Hellfire:

According to Hadith, Allah (SWT) grants freedom from Hellfire to countless souls every day at the time of Iftar. This liberation becomes the destiny of those who constantly seek pardon through Istighfar.

3. Acceptance of Supplication (Dua):

The prayer for forgiveness made while fasting is never rejected. It is a direct link between a repenting servant and the Almighty.

💎 The Benefits of Istighfar

Abundance in Provision (Rizq):

As mentioned in Surah Nuh, Allah grants wealth, children, and prosperity to those who make Istighfar their habit.

Solution to Every Problem:

For the one who recites "Astaghfirullah" consistently, Allah makes a way out of every difficulty and provides for them from sources they could never imagine.

Peace of Heart:

Sins create restlessness in the soul. Istighfar cleanses the heart, bringing tranquility and spiritual satisfaction.

Protection from Punishment:

Allah does not send His wrath upon a people as long as they are seeking His forgiveness.

📝 The Best Way to Seek Forgiveness (Method)

Presence of Heart:

Don't just recite it with your tongue; pray with a heart full of remorse, saying: "O Allah, I am truly ashamed of my sins."

Constant Remembrance:

There is no specific time for it. Recite it while standing, sitting, or working, especially during the blessed time of Suhoor (Pre-dawn).

Before Iftar:

Hold your prayer beads (Tasbeeh) 5–10 minutes before Iftar and engage in Istighfar; this is the prime time for the acceptance of prayers.

Resolve to Change:

The true essence of Istighfar lies in the firm intention: "O Allah, I will not repeat this mistake again."

💡 The Master Prayer (Sayyid-ul-Istighfar)

If you seek the highest reward, make it a point to recite Sayyid-ul-Istighfar at least once a day. The Prophet (ﷺ) said that whoever recites this with firm faith during the day and dies before evening, or recites it at night and dies before morning, will be among the people of Paradise.
"O Allah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshipped except You. You created me and I am Your servant..."

Sayyid-ul-Istighfar

"O Allah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshipped except You. You createme d and I am Your servant, and I abide by Your covenant and promise as best as I can. I take refuge in You from the evil of which I have committed. I acknowledge Your favor upon me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for verily none can forgive sins except You."

💡 A Small Reflection from the Heart regarding this Dua:

In this prayer, we express our utter humility (Aajzi) before Allah. During Ramadan, when you recite these words, reflect deeply on every phrase—especially the part where we say, "I acknowledge my sins." There is a profound beauty in this admission. When a servant stands before Allah and sincerely admits their mistakes without any excuses, Allah’s infinite Mercy is stirred. At that very moment of honest confession and repentance, He, in His Boundless Grace, forgives everything.

Dua

"Ae Allah! Hum sab ko aur tamam Ummate Muhammadiya ko is Ramadan ke sadke mukammal hidayat ata farma. Humein seedhe raste par chala. Humein himmat de ke hum kisi ke sath galat na karein, kisi ka haq na khayein aur kisi par zulm na karein. Ya Allah! Jo gunah hum se hue, unhein apni rehmat se maaf farma. Ye rehmat ke ashre ke aakhiri din hain, hum sab Teri rehmat-e-khas ke muntazir hain. Beshak Tu Rehman hai aur reham karne wala hai, hum pa Reham farma. Ameen!"

English Translation:

"O Allah! For the sake of this blessed Ramadan, grant complete guidance to us and the entire Ummah of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). Guide us on the straight path. Give us the strength never to wrong anyone, never to usurp someone's rights, and never to oppress others. O Allah! Forgive the sins we have committed through Your vast Mercy. These are the final days of the Ashra of Mercy; we are all waiting for Your special Grace. Indeed, You are the Most Compassionate and the Most Merciful; have Mercy upon us. Ameen!"

 Closing Message

"Ramadan ka ye babarkat mahina sirf bhooka pyasa rehne ka naam nahi, balkay apne nafs ki islah aur dusron ke huqooq ka khayal rakhne ka naam hai. Allah humein hidayat de ke hum Quran ki in ayaat (Surah Al-Baqarah) ko sirf parhein nahi, balkay apni zindagiyon mein nafiz (implement) bhi karein. Dua hai ke is Ramadan hum sachi tawbah karein, dusron ka haq lautayein, aur apne muashray ko insaf aur mohabbat ka gahwara banayein.
Apne mulk se mohabbat imaan ka hissa hai, is liye khud ko sudharein taake Pakistan kaamyab ho sakay. Agar phir bhi kisi ko meri koi baat buri lagi ho to main maafi chahungi, lekin mera maqsad sirf Allah ka paigham pounchana tha. Agar aap ko ye post achi lage to isay Sadqa-e-Jariya ki niyat se share karein. Milte hain agli post mein In Sha Allah.
Allah hamari tamam ibadaton aur duaon ko qabool farmaye aur hamare mulk Pakistan ko khoob kaamyabi aur bulandi ata farmaye. Ameen!"

"This blessed month of Ramadan is not just about fasting; it is about self-reformation and honoring the rights of others. May Allah grant us the guidance to not only recite these verses of Surah Al-Baqarah but to also implement them in our lives. I pray that this Ramadan, we seek sincere repentance, return the rights we owe, and transform our society into a haven of justice and love.
Please do not think that I am speaking ill of my beloved country, Pakistan. Our country is a gift from Allah to us Muslims; I only pray that Allah gives us the wisdom to truly value it. Love for one's country is a part of faith; therefore, we must reform ourselves so that Pakistan can succeed. If my words have unintentionally hurt anyone, I sincerely apologize.
