Surah Al-Fatiha ki Tafseer

Adhoora kaam:

Hadees-e-Pak ke mutabiq, jo aham kaam Bismillah se shuru na kiya jaye, woh (barakat ke aitbaar se) adhoora reh jata hai. Aur jo kaam Bismillah parh kar shuru kiya jaye, us mein Allah ki barakat aur rehmat shamil ho jati hai aur woh kaam aasani ke sath mukammal ho jata hai.

Us ke har kaam mein hikmat hoti hai.

2. Hamd-o-Sana (Tamam tareefein Allah ke liye):

Duniya mein agar koi bhi kisi ki tareef karta hai, to haqeeqat mein woh Allah hi ki tareef hoti hai, kyun ke har cheez ko banane wala wahi hai.
Woh “Rabb-ul-Aalameen” hai, yani wahi har makhlooq (insaan, jin, farishtay, parinday) ko palne wala aur un ki zarooriyat poori karne wala hai.

3. Seedha rasta aur nek logon ki sohbat:

Is Surah mein hum Allah se “Sirat-ul-Mustaqim” (seedha rasta) maangtay hain.
Agar hum bhi Allah ke qareeb hona chahtay hain aur duniya aur Aakhirat mein kamyab hona chahtay hain, to humein bhi unhi ke raste par chalna chahiye, jo ke Allah ka hi rasta hai.

Is se yeh sabaq milta hai ke Deen par sahi chalne ke liye nek logon ki sohbat aur un ka rasta ikhtiyar karna zaroori

Tafseer of Surah Al-Fatiha

1. Virtue and Blessings of Bismillah

Beginning Every Task:

The Qur’an begins with Bismillah so that Allah’s servants develop the habit of starting every good and permissible action in the name of Allah.

Incomplete Work Without Bismillah:

According to Hadith, any important task that is not started with Bismillah remains incomplete in terms of blessings. When a task is begun with Bismillah, Allah’s blessings and mercy become part of it, and that work is completed with ease.

Mercy of Allah:

Al-Rahman and Al-Raheem are attributes of Allah that show how extremely Merciful He is toward His servants. We should always hope for His mercy and never lose hope in it. Allah’s mercy should never be doubted, because every action of His is based on wisdom.

2. Hamd-o-Sana (All Praise Belongs to Allah)

If anyone in this world praises someone, in reality that praise returns to Allah, because He is the Creator of everything.

He is Rabb-ul-‘Aalameen — the Sustainer of all worlds — meaning He nurtures and provides for all creation: humans, jinn, angels, and even birds.

3. The Straight Path and the Company of the Righteous

In this Surah, we ask Allah for Sirat-ul-Mustaqim (the Straight Path).

The Straight Path is the way of those upon whom Allah has bestowed His favor — such as the Prophets, the Companions, and the righteous saints. Surely, following their path brings success in both this world and the Hereafter, because Allah opened for them the doors of His mercy, wisdom, and knowledge. This is because they always obeyed Allah’s commands and became very close to Him.

If we also want closeness to Allah and success in both this life and the Hereafter, then we must follow the same path — the path shown by Allah Himself.

From this, we learn that to remain firm in Deen, it is essential to keep the company of righteous people and adopt their way of life.

Dill ki baat :-

Surah Al-Fatiha mere liye Allah se guftagu ka ek zariya hai. Jab bhi main pareshan hoti hoon, to “Iyyaka na’budu wa iyyaka nasta‘een” (Hum teri hi ibadat karte hain aur tujhi se madad maangte hain) parh kar mere dil ko bohat sukoon milta hai.

Yeh Surah humein sikhati hai ke chahe kuch bhi ho jaye, humein sirf Allah ki taraf ruju karna chahiye, kyun ke Allah ne Qur’an mein Surah Al-Fatiha ke baare mein farmaya hai ke iska aadha hissa mera hai aur aadha mere banday ka. Agar aap ghour karein to yeh haqeeqat hai.

Allah ne shuru ki aayaat mein apni sifaat bayan ki hain — woh Rehman bhi hai, Raheem bhi, Aakhirat ke din ka Malik bhi, jaldi maaf karne wala bhi, aur wahi hidayat dene wala bhi hai. Woh hidayat deta hai, lekin hum insaan hi ghaafil hote hain jo hidayat hasil nahi karte.

Aakhri aayat mein Allah ne humein hidayat lene ka hukam diya hai. Isi liye Allah ne hamari aasani ke liye waseela bana kar Ambiya, Sahaba aur Auliya bhejay, taake humein hidayat lene mein aasani ho. Aur Allah ne Qur’an mein wazeh kaha hai ke in ke raste par chalne mein kamyabi hai, kyun ke un par Allah ka inaam hua hai.

Is ka saboot yeh hai ke aaj itne saal guzar jaane ke baad bhi, un ke zahiri parda kar jaane ke bawajood, un ka naam aaj bhi jazbay aur izzat ke sath liya jata hai aur Qayamat tak liya jata rahega.

Pyare dosto, yeh baat batane ka mera maqsad yeh hai ke hum nek logon mein shamil hon, namaz parhain aur Allah ke hukam par amal karein. Allah bohat pyara hai, woh bohat Rehman hai. Hum chahe kitne hi gunahgaar hon, woh maaf karne wala hai.

A Message from My Heart

Surah Al-Fatiha is a means of conversation with Allah for me. Whenever I feel worried, reciting “Iyyaka na‘budu wa iyyaka nasta‘een” (You alone we worship, and from You alone we seek help) brings great peace to my heart.

This Surah teaches us that no matter what happens, we should always turn only toward Allah. Allah has mentioned in the Qur’an about Surah Al-Fatiha that half of it is for Him and half is for His servant. If we reflect on this, we realize that it is a true reality.

In the opening verses, Allah describes His attributes — He is Al-Rahman, Al-Raheem, the Owner of the Day of Judgment, the One who forgives quickly, and the One who grants guidance. He gives guidance, but we humans are often heedless and fail to accept it.

In the final verses, Allah commands us to seek guidance. That is why Allah, for our ease, sent Prophets, Companions, and righteous saints as means, so that it becomes easier for us to receive guidance. Allah has clearly stated in the Qur’an that success lies in following their path, because Allah bestowed His favor upon them.

The proof of this is that even after so many years, and despite their physical departure from this world, their names are still remembered with respect and love — and they will continue to be remembered until the Day of Judgment.

Allah has also forbidden us from following the path of those upon whom His wrath descended, such as Satan, Pharaoh, Yazid, and many others, because they disobeyed Allah.

Dear friends, the purpose of sharing this is that we should strive to be among the righteous, offer our prayers, and follow Allah’s commands. Allah is very Loving and Most Merciful. No matter how sinful we may be, He is always ready to forgive.
